Is the salmon I'm buying Alaskan? Is it wild?
Wild By Nature sells only wild, Alaskan salmon. We specialize in Copper River salmon, though other salmon is available upon request.

Is Copper River salmon a renewable resource?
Yes. Copper River salmon runs are carefully & responsibly managed and the fishery certified sustainable
.

Is this salmon dyed? Is it natural?
All of our salmon is 100% natural & wild. There are no artificial dyes, additives or preservatives added to any of our products.

Do giant corporations own permits & fish for these salmon?
No.
In the state of Alaska only individuals may own fishing permits. The salmon we sell are caught and fished for by us, family fishermen. We are small U.S. businessmen that provide a traceable product to our consumers.

Is it healthy to eat wild salmon?
Yes. Wild salmon, especially Copper River salmon, are high in healthy Omega 3 oils. Research indicates these oils help protect against heart disease, high blood pressure, autoimmune disease and cancer. These salmon are all natural, unlike farmed salmon they contain no dyes, additives, steroids or antibiotics.
